Lafrancis Hardiman Elementary School students marked Fire Safety Month with an educational visit from the Wyandanch Fire Department. Firefighters reviewed important safety rules, including when to call 911 and how to stop, drop and roll, and gave students an up-close look at a fire truck. The visit offered a fun, hands-on way to reinforce fire safety awareness and emergency preparedness.
