Three Wyandanch Memorial High School senior musicians – tenor Jermaine Brown and altos Taliyah Knight and Xzoria Tucker – were recently selected to participate in this year’s New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education All-County Festival. These accomplished scholars were chosen for the prestigious countywide ensembles (Brown and Tucker in Division 4 Mixed Chorus, Knight in Division 4 Treble Chorus) following years of musical study, rehearsal and performance, and will perform Nov. 13 at Half Hollow Hills School.

Chorus Director Nicki Kacharaba praised the students for their achievement, credited the educators who supported their musical growth and thanked the Wyandanch community for continuing to champion music education.
