Wyandanch athletes helping athletes and others

The scholar-athletes at Wyandanch Memorial High School took their training and team spirit to a higher level. Members from every athletic team in the high school made the commitment to be prepared in the event a teammate or someone else needed medical assistance.

The scholar-athletes successfully completed CPR/AED training provided by a Northwell Health Emergency Medical Services team of experts. After learning the life-saving skills, all scholar-athletes received their certification and have the confidence and skills needed to potentially save a life, if needed. The Wyandanch School District would like to thank the members of Northwell Health EMS team for training and preparing the scholar-athletes to be prepared in case of an emergency.
