Stepping out of Corvettes, Ferraris and even a Rolls Royce, Wyandanch Memorial High School students arrived in style and dressed to impress for the school’s pre-prom red carpet event.
With sparkling gowns and expertly tailed tuxedos, members of the senior class were met by a cheering crowd of underclassmen, family, friends and Wyandanch staff as their names were announced and they walked the red carpet before heading to prom at the Piermont in Babylon.
“This is a big day for our seniors, and we all look forward to it,” said Principal Paul Sibblies. “Our staff works diligently to put this event on for them and everyone attending plans for months to make sure everything is perfect.”
Whether arm-in-arm with a date, walking confidently on their own, or strutting happily with a group of friends, the prom-goers showed off their finest prom outfits for the cameras and all wore beautiful smiles from ear-to-ear.
