Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison Visits HS Students

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison recently visited students at Wyandanch Memorial High School to discuss the benefits of becoming an officer with the Suffolk County Police Department.

Along with a large turnout from students, Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Gina Talbert and High School Principal Mr. Paul Sibblies were present as Harrison advised, guided and educated the students on the responsibilities of being a police officer and the benefits of serving the citizens of Suffolk County.

As the first black Police Commissioner in Suffolk County, Harrison is looking to educate teens on the work of the police force and increase diversity within the organization to help and protect more people in Suffolk County.
