Wyandanch Memorial High School Preps Students for Higher Education

Wyandanch Memorial High School students were visited by representatives from LeMoyne-Owen College of Memphis as part of the district’s initiatives to encourage educational achievement and provide information about higher education. Juniors and seniors were invited for college recruitment in the high school’s auditorium and had the opportunity to speak with representatives from the college to learn about their futures as college students and the different educational pathways higher education offers.

Throughout the school year, Wyandanch Memorial High School is visited by several colleges and universities from across the county. Upcoming visits include Virginia Union University and Wilberforce University.
